Youth NEET Rate — methodology
Category: Equality & Inclusion · Unit: % of people aged 15–24 · Published annual
What this metric measures
The share of young people aged 15–24 who are not in employment, education or training (NEET).
Why it matters: It captures young people disconnected from both work and study — a broader signal of disadvantage than youth unemployment alone, and a predictor of long-term exclusion.
